RIGHT NOW!

We all have a very unexplainable tendency of keeping things for a better time be it something you want to do, something you want to tell someone or maybe just giving a call to an old friend, we always keep it for some time better in future. I’ve often heard people say that they have been wanting to do this or that particular thing for such a long time but they couldn’t spare some time for it since they have always been so busy. But at the end of the day, there is nothing such as BUSY since life is all about priorities. It’s just that we never take the instant initiative to do something that we really want to at the very moment we want to. We wait for the right time and it never shows up! I have many times wondered about some people around me who are able to do everything, literally EVERYTHING, they want. They participate in extracurriculars, are good with grades, go out on weekends, write blogs, make vlogs and upload it on their channels, and with everything are also able to manage a relationship!

For a very long time, like REALLY long, I have been wanting to start blogging and sharing my experiences and stories; of course, I’ve been waiting for the right to start writing and that definitely didn’t come any sooner. When the idea first came to my mind I jotted down some points but did not start writing since I kept the typing for the weekend. Nice sweet thought of sparing some time to your hobby on weekends. But I did not do it that weekend, neither the next one nor any other weekend until today (and just FYI- today is not a weekend). Because as I was sitting at home in lockdown I started to make a list of things I wanted to in this period to fight the boredom and soon I kept the list aside assigning every work a day or time in the future and began to watch the news on TV. As I was watching the news I realized how uncertain everything is. Like whoever knew that a super deadly virus killing millions kind of superhero comic fantasy would become a reality in the most horribly possible manner and that too without a supernatural hero or cop to save us!

The truth is that you never know what’s going to happen next. In this period of a worldwide pandemic, we have realized something very important that we knew and always said but never truly realized — only we can save ourselves — we must take the lead and that too as soon as possible. So I shut the TV tore off the list and took my laptop to type my thoughts. I don’t know if this is arguably a good blog but I couldn’t care less now. I did what I wanted to do for a very long time and trust me it felt really good. I know that I at least took the first step, the train left the station I can improve my driving on the way and everybody knows you only improve your driving when you drive! The same is the case with any other art or skill in the world — we learn while doing it! It’s a process. So don’t wait for the so-called “right time”, whatever you want to do start it right now cause now you really don’t know what’s going to happen in the world next so take the lead. If you feel you should maybe start yoga don’t think, just begin if you don’t like it quit! But start what you think you should do because there is no better time than RIGHT NOW!
